  • Go into edit mode
  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

de Dorobornia mercatoris etats 22 annorum aut circiter testis
in hac parte productus iuratus et examinatus./

at the tyme of the takinge therof did really and trulye belonge to Jaques
Ribaud and Henry Bardett of Rochell merchants, forthat he hath
dwelte in house with Edward Peters and Gerard Van Tonen of Dover
merchants by the space of fourteene monethes last past and for all
that tyme the sayd Van Tonen and Peters have had correspondence by letters
with the sayd Ribaud and Bardett, and that in or about the 25th
day of Aprill last past stile veteri the sayd Van Tonen and Peters
received a letter from the sayd Ribaud and Bardett, wherin they were
advised amongest other things hat there were laden for the accompts of teh sayd Ribaud and Bardett abord the arlate
