  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

Willimus Taylor de Ratcliffe in Comitatu Middlesex
Nayler aetats 40 annorum aut circiter testis in hac parte
productus iuratus et examinatus./

Ad primum secundum et reliquos arlos libelli in hac parte dat et
oblat, et schedlas in eodem menconat Dicit et deponit That within
the tyme arlate the arlate Timothye Winge then master of
the arlate shipp the Safetye came often tymes to the arlate William
Vickers his shopp in Ratcliffe and have order to the sayd Viccars and his servants for the makinge
and providinge of great quantityes of nayles and other Iron
worke for the use reparring and makinge fitt of the sayd shipp
the Safetye to goe to sea, and likewise gave order for the
deliverye therof unto the Carpenter, Boatswayne and Gunner of
the sayd shipp for their store in the sayd shipps then intended
voyage to Plimouth and from thence into the
Straights, and by the sayd Wings order the sayd Vickars and
this deponent and other this the sayd Vickers servants,. did within the
tyme arlate deliver unto the sayd Carpenter, boatswayne and
Gunner for the use of the sayd shipp the Safetye severall
quantityes of nayles bolts and other Iron worke,
mentioned un the first schedule arlate, by tallye, and after the
delivery therof one of the sayd Vickers his servants did enter downe
the same in his booke of accompts, but this deponent cannott
remember every perticuler quantitye of Nayles and other Iron
worke expressed in the sayd schedule, but doth remember the delivery
of the most part therof, and doth verilye beleive in his conscience
that all the sayd perticuler quantityes of goods were delivered by the
sayd
