Transcription

Ad 12um affirmat That by reason of the oremisses
the said Pratt the Master of the said shippe became
indebted and [?XXted] money to defray the same
and ther uppon the saud Taylor and [?Craff]
sould the said Andrewes againe to [?XXXX]
to the said Grocers for leave to lande some
goodes to make monies to defraye the said
debts, but Andrewes as hee said went to the
said Governour and they had leave granted
to Land some of tHE said goodes, And this hee
affirmeth uppon his oath to be true,
Et alr nescit./

Ad 14um affirmat That whilst the said
Taylor and Pratt and othrs of his Company
were selling the said pilchards, intending
when they had done the same to [?XXX]
for Saint Sebastians, the Officers at [?XXXX]
went aboard the said shippe the [?XXX]
and fetcht her fore saile a shoare, and there uppon
the said Taylor and Pratt by the said Michaell
Andrewes deducing the reason thereof
those officers said as Andreas in this
examinates heareing interpreted their selves
that the Owners [?XXXX] have a third
part of the pilchardes aboard the shipp shee
beeing Laden for the most part therewith
for that [?XXXX] [?XXX] pilchards at [?XXX]
where hee Lived, And this hee affirmeth uppon
his oath to bee true, Et alr nescit./
