the said Coppins hee hath only knowne in the last voyage, and saith that
the said Ba[?sserda] is maried and hath a family in Nantes in ffrance
under the dominion of the king of ffrance and doth [?inoy] (for ought hee knoweth)
all privileges belonging to the subiects thereof And otherwise hee knoweth not/

To the seaventh hee saith that the papers on bord the said shipp did direct the
Master thereof to saile to fflushing and not to any other Port or place
whatsoever, All which hee saith hee hath seene perused and read (except the Charterparty)
which [?tended] to that purpose and further hee answareth negatively

To the 8th hee saith that about a [XXXX] [?since] the said producent being Master
of the said shipp and this deponent Steersman they did receave a shipps lading of
wines from the said Coppins and Bass[?erda] att [XXXX] in [?fflanders] and for the Accompt of the said
[VeXlaix] and carried the same to fflushing but never carried any thing from
the said [?VeXXaix] unto them but meerly ballast And further hee
saith hee cannot answar saveing his foresaid depositions to which hee referreth
himselfe./

Examined upon the said Allegation on the behalf of
the said [?VelXx]

dt.

Cornelius Cornelison of fflushing in Zeland Marriner
aged 28 yeares or thereabouts sworne and examined deposeth as
followeth.

To the first hee saith that hee doth well knowe the producent Peter [?Velaix]
who is a dutchman and one of the [?Councells] of the ffree state of fflushing and
and there inhabiteth, and is a Subiect to the States if the United
Netherland Provinces betweene whome, and this Comonwealth of England
hee saith hee knoweth no [XXXXX] but that there is a [fXXX] [?league] and amitie
And also knoweth the shipp the winter king arlate upon which hee entred
as Cooke thereof about 14 or 15 weeks since whereof hee saith the arlate
Peter [?Veloux] the producent was and is the lawfull owner and Proprietor and
so accompted reputed and taken And further hee cannot depose./


To the second article hee saith and deposeth that in or about the Month of
June last past the said Peter [?Veloux] did by ffactors or Agents Lade abord
the said shipp the Winter king for his proper Accompt at dou[?lan] in
Quinparley in Brittany, wheate and Rye (which was the whole shipps
ladeing which was to bee transported from [XXXane] to fflushing, And slso hee
saith there was some wheat and Rye laden abord the said shipp for the Accompt
of the arlate Cornelnis Johnsn van der Velde Master of the said shipp and
for the Steeresman and Company, over [?and] besides the wheate which was for
the Accompt of the said Vel[XX]x All which he knoweth to bee true because
he this deponent was on board the said shipp and helped to lade the
wheate and Rye and was tould by the arlate Bass[XX] and Copp[XX] the ffactors
of the said Vel[XXX] that it was laden and putt on board for his Accompt but the
quantitie thereof he knoweth not And further he cannot depose./

To the third he saith that the said shipp the winter king was and did remaine
att Saint Mallow in ffrance in or about the Month of June arlate haveing only
her ballast in her, And further hee knoweth not/
