deponent sent for his owne accompt by land a good quantitie of Tobacceo
to [?} there in the west India there to be shipped for Cadiz in Spayne and Sayed[?]
That about the moneth of may last past hee this deponent being at maeaachal[?] afforesaid and
ladeing aboard a shipp called the Nostra Seignioria del Rosario which was bound for Cadiz
in Spayne Hee the deponent did for the producent Anthony de la Rosa the [?] his mate of
the said Shipp the Nostra Sigionra del Rosario lade aboard the said shipp The [?] all [?] of Tobaccau
arlate vidalicet [?] of Tobacchau marked with the first marke in the margent
and [?] [?] of the second marke in the margent and this [?} of Tobacko and 100 held

of the third marke in the margent All which goods being so laden aboard the said ffrigott Cadiz
the the[sic] [?] and [?] [?] [?] came so and arrived[?] with

the said shipp att Cadiz in Spayn which he knoweth soe that he this deponent
came along [?] in the said ffrigott tu cadiz and sayeth that the said Tobacceau

and hydes in the moneth of october arlate were taken out of the saide Shipp the
Rosaorio afforesaid and [?] [?] of the said, Tobacceua of the two first markes
in the margent were laden aboard the Sampson arlate whereof [?] [?] over
and is were[?] and the other sixe [?] of Tobacceau and the said [?] hydes were laden
and saif on board the Shipp Salvador arlate whereof Christian Coppenburghe [?]
And sayith That att the same time the said [?} having bought at St Lucar[?]
in Spaine the fortie[?] butts of wyne [?] with the first marke in the margent
lawfull then to be brought to the bay of Cadiz and there to be laden on board the said Shipp
the Sampson for the accompt and adventure of the [?] to be from [?] [?]
to Oastend[?] as is [?] which he knoweth for that he this deponent sawe the same goods
soe laden as is predeposed aboard the same two Shipps aforenamed for the accompt[?] wereof
hee sayeth That hee this deponent sawe the [?] [?] Octavia George and Christian
Cloppenburgh [/] and signe the [?] severall bills of lading arlate which they soe did at
and in the house of [?] de [?] in Cadiz aforesaid this deponent being all
[?} [?] thereof And further cannot soe Saveing that for [?] [?] predeposed
the producent was and ought to be the true and lawful owner and [?] of the said
Tobacchau wyne and [h]Eyde[?] predeposed

To the these[?] he sayeth That for all the time of the diponents knowledge of the producent
Antonie dura[?] Rosa which hath beine for these five[?] yeares last past or thereabouts he hath bin[?]
and Still is commonoly reputed and taken to be native and [?] of the Kingdome of Spayne
And further cannot depose Savinge that there is freindshipp and [?] knowne to
be between Spayn adnd this Comonwealth of England

To the Interrogatories

To the first Interrie he [?] That he this [?] came as [?] from Cadiz
afforesaid in the Shipp the Salvador and otherwise reffering himself to his [?] depositione
this [?] [?]

To the 2 Interrie he cannot further [?] [?] to the Intterie than [?] he hath predeposed
Saving That as he hath heard the interie Antonio de la Rosa has[?] beene in [?]
[?] [?] wife and family at [?] afforesaid.
To the third hee [?] That the said producent did buy the Tobaacau and Hyde at [?]
afforesaid with the Tobacceo preposed of Iaan[?] de Avila and the Hydes of Diago de [?]
