Examined upon an Allegation on the
behalfe of his Catholiq Majestie

of the sayd shipp the Sampson aged
thirty nine yeares or thereabouts a witnes
sworne and examined saith and deposeth
as followeth. videlicet.

That he this deponent being in the Bay of Cadize with his sayd
shipp the Sampson rideing att an anchor in the sayd bay, in the
beginning of October last past one John de Windt a merchant
of Cadize laded upon and there aboard the sayd shipp Sampson
to and for the use and Accompt of his sayd Majestie the Kinge
of Spayne the severall and respective parcells or sackes of
wooll hereafter specifyed. that is to say. four and twenty
sackes of wooll marked with the first marke in the margent
