eight. in one bag marked as in the mardgent. taken}
in the ships Saint John Evangelist whereof}
John de Vos is Commander taken by some of the}
shipps of this Commonwealth.}
Examined upon the Allegation given on the
behalfe of the said Claymer.

of the ship the Saint John Evangelist
aged 47. yeares or thereabouts sworne
To the first second and third articles of the said Allegation hee saith and
deposeth That in or about the moneth of Aprill last past
there was laden and put on board the said shipp the Saint John
Evangelist whereof this deponent then was and now is Commander
at Cadiz in Spaine the number of fower hundred peeces of
eight. Sevill and Mexico in a bagg marked
[MARKE, LH MARGIN]
with the marke in the margent to bee from thence transported in the
said ship to dunquirke or Ostend where the same were
consigned to bee delivered to the producent Jaspar [?XXX]

comonly accompted and reputed to bee the true and lawfull owner
