Transcription

To the second he saith and answereth that the interrate [?Perera]
is a Portuguese by birth, And further referring himnselfe
to his former depostion he cannot answeare./

To the third Interrogatory he answereth that he referreth himselfe to
his deposition made to the 15th Article, And further he
saith he cannot answeare./

To the fourth fifth and sixth Interrogatoryes he cannot answere

To the seaventh Interrogatory he answereth that the aforenamed
Rodrigues de Morais is the producents factor in ffrance
(who is (as he hath predeposed) a Portuguese, and that the
said goods were consigned to the said Morais for the account
of the said Perera, And further he cannot answeare.

To the eighth Interrogatory he answereth that he is clearely
convinced is his conscience for the reasons predeposed by him
that the goods interrate belong unto and are the goods of the
sayd Perera And otherwise he saith he cannot answeare

To the ninth he cannot answeare otherwise then he hath predeposed.

To the 10th 11th and 12th Interrogatory he knoweth not to answeare

To the 13th he answereth that he beleiveth that the said Perera
is a married man And to the rest of the Interrogatory
he cannot answeare.

To the fourteenth Interrogatory he saith that there are sometimes
colourable bills of Lading But he knoweth not of
colourable Letters of asvise, And otherwise he saith he
knoweth not to answeare.

To the fifteenth he referreth himselfe to his former deposition
And otherwise cannot answeare,.
