Transcription

To the 5th hee cannot depose./

To the 6th article hee saith hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing
deposition as touching the sayd Vessell the Rebecca falling fowle of the
vessell the Love alias the Mary aforesayd and further cannot depose/

To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true/

To the Crosse Interrogatories/ [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatorie hee saith hee cometh to testifie in this cause at
the request of the producent Thompson to whome hee is noe way
related saving hee was one of the Company of his sayd vessell the
LLove alias the Mary at the tyme predeposed of and a Common Mariner
thereof and is noe way lyable to any damage done to the Rebecca Interrogated
(in case any be done which this deponent knoweth not)

To the 2 hee saith hee this renden was abafte the mayne Mast of the
Loe alias the Mary when the Rcbecca fell fowle of her in manner
predeposed, and saith the tyde was then new Ebb, and the winde
(as this deponent beleeveth) then either North East, or north North east, And
as to the rest of the Interrogatorie hee saith hee hath satisfied the contents thereof
in his precedent deposition to which hee referreth and further
cannot answere/

The sayd Thomas Bonner upon Interrogatories. [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatorie hee saith hee was required by the producent to
testifie in this cause and saith that hee was formerly the productents
prentice but at the tyme predeposed of was only a hired man with him
by the moneth and soe still continueth and was one of the Company of the Love
but had noe office in her save a Common sea man and is not lyable
to any damage done by the Love to the Rebecca (if any be done) And further
saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot answere./

To the 2 hee saith hee he saith hee stood forwards toward the head of the Love
when the Rebecca as is predeposed fell fowle of her and saith as is predeposed
the tyde was Ebb
and the winde northerly And further
saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot depose./
