Transcription

desyne was to goe from London to Palma and there take in a ladeing
and return therewith to Ireland or England according
as shee should be ordered by the producent, who ordered her to goe
as before is declared to Galloway in Ireland, and thence to Waterford
or Wexford or which of those ports shee could first fetch, And saith hee
this rendent had the mannagement and disposall of the sayd shipps Cargo
comitted to him by the producent, who gave this respondent order
touching the disposall thereof before his this rendents goeing to Palma

To the 2 hee referreth to his foregoeing deposition and cannot
otherwise answere/

To the third Interrogatorie hee saith the sayd shipp the Michaell of London arrived
at noe other Port in Ireland save Galloway before her seizure, and
there hee this deponent sold to Irish merchants about 40 pipes of
Canarie wine, for which hee tooke bond for the payment of 400 li
sterling for the same at sixe months tyme at London to the producent
Michaell Spicer, for whose Accompt the sale thereof was made, And
further saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot answere./

To the 4th hee saith that hee hoped to have a good Market at Wexford
or Waterford for what goods hee had not disposed of and sold at Galloway, and
therefore purposed to sell them there, or at least soe much of them as
he could, and he this deponent intended to come for England to Plymouth with the rest
of his Cargo which hee coud not sell at Wexford or Waterford, And
saith Galloway was the last Port the Michaell came from before her
seizure and carrying to Roscowe aforesayd, and that shee came from
Galloway about the 17th or 18th of July 1655 And otherwise saving
as aforesayd hee cannot depose/

To the 5th Interrogatorie saving his foregoeing deposition to which hee
referreth hee answereth negatively./
