except John Tayler) of the producent, And that (as he
the deponent having a share in both shipps and Cargo, was asvisd
by Letters) the same salt was sould by the arlate Edward
Nosworthie, and that the arlate William Tiddiman had a
16th and a 32th part in the sayd salt And further he
cannot depose.

To the second article he deposeth that the shipp the Truroe arlate
was in or about the moneth arlate laden at ffalmouth with
pilchers for the accompt of the arlate William Tiddiman the
producent and others the Owners of the sayd shipp (except John
Tayler) and that the sayd Pilchers were sold by the arlate
henry Gregory by severall parcells, and that the proceed therof
was by bills of exchange drawne upon the arlate John
hallett one of the partyes in this cause, who accepted of
such bills of exchange, and that the producent had a
16th part in the sayd Pilchers The premisses he
deposeth for that he having a part in the sayd shipp and
her lading did (as it did behoove him) informe himselfe
of her voyages, and was informed who were the severall
freighters And further he cannot depose.

To the third article he saith that the sayd shipp did arrive in
this port of London about June last the producent being
the Master of her, as indeed he hath bin ever since the
sayd shipp was built And further he cannot depose

To the fourth article he deposeth and saith that before
such time as the shipp arlate was arrested by vertue of a warrant
of this Court the deonent went along with the producent
unto the arlate Skinner , which going unto the sayd Skinner
was occasioned upon the sayd Skinners hallett Nosworthy their offering to buy this deponents
the producents , and John Taylers part or interest in the sayd
shipp, and that the sayd Skynner did in this deponents hearing
promise the producent that he would performe and doe according
to what was proposed and agreed upon at a former meeting
at which the deponent being not presente, cannot therefore speake
either as to the value of the shipp arlate, or what the conditions
were, And further he cannot depose.

To the last he saith his former deposition is true.

To the Interrogatoryes. [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatory he answereth that the interrate Tiddiman was
a part Owner of the interrate shipp in the month of August 1654 and
still is, but of what part of parts he knoweth not, And he further
answereth that he the Rendent bought the 32th part which he hath
of the said shipp of the producentand he beleiveth that all the partyes in this suite have
bought such parts as they have in the said shipp of him the sayd
producent

To the 2d, 3d and fourth Interrogatoryes he cannot answeare

To the fifth he answereth that he hath a 32th part in the fish, and in the
salt interrate a 32th part and in the fish a 16th And to the rest negatively
