12th 8ber 1655 [CENTRE HEADING]

Talbot Girling and others}
company for an anchor Topmasts}
and some peeces of Ropes taken upp by some}
fishermen of Barking et cetera 2}

Theodore Waddesworth of Limehouse in the County of [?Middlesex]
Maryner aged 60 yeares or thereabouts a witnes
produced sworne and being Examined hee deposed as
followeth videlicet:/

To the said allegation and to every part thereof hee saith and deposeth
that about three monethes since and otherwise hee doth not [?knowe] the tyme, this
deponent being requested by Mr Eye the somwetime Master of the hopefull Mary arlate
to help to tow upp two Toppmasts which lay at Limehouse from thence to a
mast yard near the new Crane uppon Wapping Wall, did there see the said [?two GUTTER]
Topp masts and a small Anchor and some ropes which Anchor this deponent
very well knew to have belonged to the hopefull Mary arlate, which shipp this
deponent had sailed in some 5. or 6. voyages before her casting away as is arlate and [?XXX XXX XXX XXX]
and saith that the said two Topp masts did also belong to the said shipp the
hopefull Mary (as this deponent beleeveth) for that they were of the same
bignes that her Top masts were and were taken upp by [?XXXXXXXXXXX] (as this deponent
was informed) near the same place where the said hopefull Mary was cast away
And further to the said allegation hee cannot depose./

To the Interrogatoryes./ [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatory hee answereth and saith that hee sailed in the
hopefull Mary arlate a common maryner 5 or 6. voyages ending about
this tyme 12 moneth, and to the rest of the Interrogatory hee answereth
negatively:/

To the second Interrogatory he answereth and referreth himselfe to his [?deposition]
made in this cause to the allegation. And further cannot answer./
