  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number

shipp remayning n the Registry of this Court./

To the 14th hee saith hee was not of the Company of any of the shipps
that made the seizure/

To the 15th hee saith hee did never enter into the sayd shipp

To the 16th hee saith hee never sawe and perused any of the writings
Interrogate./

To the 17th hee saith that soe farr as hee knoweth hee never saawe the shipp
the Saint George at Amsterdam/

To the 18th hee is not concerned/

To the 19th hee saith in the beginning of the yeare 1649 hee lived at Rotterdam
and there continued till June 1652, and then hee came for England
and lived in East Smithfeild till about this tyme was two yeares, and
then went to Rotterdam and there and too and fro in holland lived about
five moneths and then returned for England. and ever sincethen hath
lived in East Smithfeild where his now dwelling is And further hee cannot
depose./

To the 20th hee saith hee never was at Cadiz/

To the 21th hee saith hee never saw any silver delivered out of the
sayd shippe Saint George at Amsterdam to any person soe farr as hee
knoweth./

To the 22th hee is not concerned./

To the 23th hee saith hee never was at Cadiz./

To the 24th hee is not concerned./

To the 25th hee saith hee was not at Cadiz and saving that the sayd
three shipps and Masters by Common report came from Cadiz
Cannot durther depose/

To the 26th hee is not concerned/

To the 27th hee is not concerned/

To the 28th he is not concerned/

To the 29th hee saith it is usuall for shipps of severall States
to meete at the Port of a freind and to departe togeather and
yet to sayle each shipp to her owne proper home or place of
consignement And further cannot depose./
