  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

hee the said Manuel Martinnes Dormedo (who hee saith is an Hebrew and for
such commonly accompted) came from Amsterdam to this [?where] to live
and settle here, and hath ever since lived and fixed his [?habitacion] in this
[?citie] in a house in St Hellens
where this [?deponent] hath often bin with him, and [] often [] said
coming and alsoe from [] his wife and family [] [?whereXXXX] have
ever since continued, and where hee first coming over about foure yeares
since hee told and acquainted this deponent and severall other of his friends
and acquaintances that hee [?came] with a purpose to fix his dwelling here
