Robert ffisher Master and part owner of the}
Willing Adventure against Edmund [?Tessell].}
Smith. Budd.}

Examined upon an allegation on the
behalfe of the said ffisher.

Mathew Coppin of Boston in the County of Lincolne
Mariner, aged 24 yeares or thereabouts sworne and
examined.

To the first article hee saith and deposeth that in the moneths and tyme
arlate the arlate Robert ffisher was Master and Part Owner of the
arlate shipp the Willing Adventure And for syuch commonly reputed
And further hee deposeth not/

To the 2: 3: 4th and 5th articles of the sayd allegation hee saith that hee this
deponent being a prisoner aboard an Oastend man of warr knoweth
that the sayd shipp the Willing Adventure with her ladeing consisting
of twentie lasts of mault and divers chalders of Coales and other
goods aboard her was in the moneths of June or July in the yeare one
thousand sixe hundred fifty eight (after shee had maynteyned a fight
for five or sixe howers to defend her selfe and ladeing) seized and
taken by the sayd Oastend man of warr who ioyned with and assisted
him in the sayd fight and seizure, And the sayd two Oastend men of
warr
