Editorial history

Abstract & context

Richard Boylston is only mentioned in one legal document relating to the SVJS. This is C10/82/2 (1664), which states he had invested £500 in the SVJS. He is not mentioned in the earlier listing of SVJS subscribers, C10/109/102 (1663). A Richard Boylston is also listed having invested £700 in the Williams Adventure.[1]

The PRC will transcribed below is a plausible match for the SVJS subscriber, but has been excluded from further analysis of the venture since there is no confirmation of the SVJS shareholding.
