and beleeveth that the arlate William<br />
Stevenson being parteowner of the arlate<br />
shippe the ''Eagle'' and being mentioned<br />
in the charter party made for the voyadge<br />
arlate as parteowner and Master of the arlate<br />
shippe the ''Eagle'' on the owners behalfe<br />
did take upon him to bee Master of the said<br />
shipp the said voyadge and after he had taken uppon him to goe Master of the said shipp as aforesaid hee the said Stephen=<br />
son as Master of the said shippe did deparre<br />
out of the river of Orwell with the said<br />
shippe the ''Eagle'' upon the 27th day of March<br />
1648 arlate and within a short time<br />
after put backe againe with the said<br />
shippe into the said River againe and<br />
did not goe againe to sea with the said<br />
shippe untill the nineteenth of Aprill<br />
followeing and then sailed againe from<br />
the River of Orwell aforesaid to Nants<br />
in ffrance and from thence went with<br />
the said shippe unto severall other<br />
ports and places to which the said<br />
shippe was consigned by this Rendent<br />
and continued in the said shippe as<br />
pretendeing himselfe to bee Master of her<br />
untill the [?28th] day of November 1649<br />

the ''Eagle'' was unladen and discharged<br />
of her ladeing put aboard her by these<br />
Respondents And otherwise they doe not<br />
beleeve nor any of them beleeveth the<br />
