To the first Article of the sayd allegati … To the first Article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith That in<br />
the yeares 1650 and 1651 and monethes therein respectively concurring<br />
the arlate Samiel Hawkes was master of the sayd shipp the ''Sarah''<br />
''Bonadventure'' abd as master had possession of her of the knowledge and<br />
sight of this deponent. And saith he hath Credibly heard and verily<br />
beleiveth that he the sayd Samuel Hawkes the tyme aforesayd was likewise<br />
partowner of one 32th. part of the sayd shipp and one 32th part of her<br />
tackle apparrell and furniture, and for and as such the sayd Samuel<br />
Hawkes was generally observed accounted and taken. And otherwise<br />
cannot depose.
To the second article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that on or about<br />
the 28th day of July 1651. the arlate Samuel Hawkes did within<br />
the Jurisdiction of this Court sell unto the sayd William Moore the sayd one<br />
