Transcription [ADD DATA] To the fifth he saith that the[ADD DATA] To the fifth he saith that the five Bills of lading to the sayd Allegation<br /> annexed and now shewne him are five of the aforesayd Bills of lading<br /> which this deponent saw signed att Cadiz as aforesayd, And he further<br /> sayth that a;beit aswell in the sayd five bills of lading as in the rest which<br /> were drawne and made for the sayd moneys and plate the names of Senior Pablo<br /> Cobrisse of Bridges and of ffrancis Sloyer of Hamburgh to be made use<br /> of, yet in truth the sayd moneys and plate were not nor are not for the use<br /> and accompt of the sayd Cobrisse and Sloyer or eyther of them, but were and<br /> are for the use and Accompt of the sayd John de losa Barona onely whose<br /> proper goods they are as aforesayd And saith that the sayd John de Losa<br /> Barona made use of the names of the sayd Cobrisse and Sloyer in his sayd<br /> Bills of Lading to avoyd the perill which himselfe might have runn into<br /> in Spaine in case it had bene knowne there that the sayd sylver had bene for his<br /> Accompt, And somuch the sayd Producent did acquaint this deponent with att<br /> Cadiz about the tyme of lading the sayd sylver this deponent being his familiar<br /> freind and fellow Companion in his travells and well acquainted with his<br /> trading and manner of dealing in the wauy of merchandizing. And further<br /> he cannot depose To the sixth he saith that the arlate John de Losa Barona is a Spaniard and<br /> a subiect of the King of Spaine, and is an Inhabitant of Limma in<br /> Peru of the West Indies and so hath bene for these thirteene yeares now<br /> past of this deponents knowledge, and was borne att Segovia in Spaine<br /> as this deponent hath credibly heard and beleiveth. And for and as such a<br /> subiect of the King of Spaine and a Spaniard the sayd John de Losa Barona<br /> was an is commonly accounted and taken.
