To the fifth Interrogatory he answereth that the goods interrate were<br />
laden aboard the said shipp at Marselleis, and that that<br />
part of the shipps Lading which were for the account of<br />
hollanders he this Rendent received there of one Isaer Lausin<br />
a dutchmanm and the goods for the account of the<br />
Sallycovers and Scotrink from their Agents there, which<br />
were Switzers, And that the said shipp with her Lading<br />
was bound for haverdegrace in ffrance, And further he<br />
cannot answeare, saying he referreth himselfe to the bills<br />
of Lading taken aboard the said shipp./
To the sixth Interrogatory he answereth that this Rendent did<br />
goe alsoe from hambrough with the said shipp and her Lading<br />
of beanse and pease and other goods besides the stowage wood first to Allicant in Spayne and<br />
thence to Marselleis, where the rest of the shipps Lading<br />
that was not unladed at Allicant was delivered unto the<br />
Agents of the Sallycovers and Scotrinke, whose names<br />
were John Lewis Sallycover, Bartholomew Sallycover<br />
henry Sallycover and Bartholomew Schw[?inger], for the<br />
account of the Owners videlicet, Scotrinke, Longerman and<br />
the Sallygrovers of Sangall./
To the seaventh Interrogatory he answereth that there was noe<br />
charter party for the voyage interrate, and that he was<br />
to receive his freight according to his bills of lading:/
To the eight he answereth that the Pursers name is hans henry<br />
Beckmise, the Boateswains Michael Martins and the<br />
name of the Steersman is Andrew hinke, And that to<br />
his best remembrance himselfe signed the most of the<br />
bills of Lading, and those he did not firme, was signed<br />
by the Purser, And that there are noe goods aboard<br />
but for which bills of Lading were signed saving such goods<br />
which are for this Rendents account and the account of some of<br />
the said shipps Company, which are mentioned in the<br />
sayd Manifesto./
To the ninth and tenth Interrogatoryes he answereth that the papers interrate<br />
which were brought into the office on this very day being by<br />
him perused at this his time of examination that they<br />
were all delivered up by him this Rendent unto the<br />
Captains of the Commmonwealth frigetts that tooke him, and<br />
that besides those papers he hath his passeport from<br />
hambrough, and the usuall Toll briefes from Marselleis<br />
And that the said papers are all true and right and<br />
not forged And further he cannot answeare, referring himselfe<br />
to what he hath predeposed./
To the eleaventh Interrogatory he answereth that the noates<br />
interrate being now read and shewen unto him that the<br />
name Jacon {?XXXX] subscribed to the said two Noates is his<br />
owne handwriting, and that the contents thereof are true<br />
and that therefore he did acknowledge and confesse the<br />
same./
