Transcription Amsterdam, and that shee carried in her thAmsterdam, and that shee carried in her the said voyage to the Barbadas<br /> beere, wine, iron, oile, stockfish and other goods proper for that trade<br /> some whereof were belonging to the said owners, and the rest to others<br /> as hee was informed, And further hee cannot depose. To the third and fourth Interrogatories hee saith that the said<br /> shipp had an English passe for the said voyage grannted by the<br /> authoritie of England, and that the said shipp having delivered<br /> her said outward cargo in the roade of the Barbadas, and lying<br /> there taking in of sugars and cottons for her homewards voyage<br /> shee was on or about the tenth of ffebruary last (old stile) seized by the<br /> ''Marston Moore frigot'' in the immediate service of this<br /> Commonwealth, with such sugars and cottons as shee had received<br /> aboard being in his estimation fiftie tonnes of sugars and foure<br /> and fortie baggs of cotton; and saith his contest Jacob derrickss[?on]<br /> Wil[?rey] master of the said shipp the ''John Baptiste'' showed the said English<br /> passe to the Lieutenant of the said frigot in this deponents<br /> sight when the said seizure was made, the premisses hee knoweth<br /> being then stiersman of the said shipp the ''John Baptist[?a]'', and<br /> seeing the premisses soe donne.
