Transcription him, hee saith there was an Exemplificatiohim, hee saith there was an Exemplification of the said<br /> affidavit taken out under the seale of this Court, and sent<br /> over for Amsterdam to be thence carried in the said shipp, this<br /> deponent comming along to this office about taking it out.<br /> And further hee cannot depose. To the Interrogatories. [CENTRE HEADING] To the first hee saith hee was borne at ffinchley in Middlesex<br /> and hath lived theise last twenty yeares in London, but went not<br /> the voyage aforesaid, and for the rest hee referreth himselfe to his<br /> foregoeing deposition. To the second hee saith the said shipp was by<br /> the said Mr Stiles and Mr Prince bought at Amsterdam in or about September<br /> last for the said Stiles and this deponent, at which this deponent<br /> was not present nor sawe the money paid, but his correspondent<br /> paid his this respondents part of the summe and placed it to this<br /> respondents account, And for the further information of this<br /> Court touching the said proprietie, hee leaveth the originall bill<br /> of sale of and for the said shipp, which hee saith is trie and reall<br /> And that noe subiect of the king of Spaine or other enemie of<br /> this Commonwealth hath any part or share in the said shipp or<br /> lading, And otherwise saving as aforesaid hee cannot answer. To the third hee saith that George Prince went<br /> Master of the said shipp, and saith the said Prince is an Englishman<br /> and was borne (as this deponent hath heard) about Newberry.<br /> And otherwise negatively, referring himselfe to his foregoeing<br /> deposition. To the fourth hee saith that as hee hath seene by a letter from<br /> and that came from the Barbada's, the said shipp was seized three dayes after<br /> her arivall there, and hee leaveth the copie of the said letter for<br /> the information of this Court. To the last hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition<br /> and saith this deponent liveth in this citie, and all the rest<br /> of the said owners in Amsterdam, And otherwise negatively.
