To the 4th saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot answere<br />
knowing nothing nor having heard any thing to the effect Interrate,/
To the 5th hee saith hee was not at the Taverne Interrogate nor<br />
aboard the ''Phenix'' when any such notice as is Interrogate was<br />
given nor knoweth any thing thereof And therefore cannot answere<br />
to this Interrogatorie./.
To the 6th hee saith that it is the Custome in the moreing of<br />
shipps in the River of Thames to laye one Anchor Northerly and the<br />
other Southerly and soe to keepe them as neere as possibly they can<br />
And further hee cannot answere/
To the 7th hee saith the dammage in question happened in the River<br />
of Thames neerer Wapping side than Rederiffe side and saith as<br />
afore that all shipps rideing there at Anchor ought to have [?men]<br />
sufficient aboard them how soever they lye there to vere and<br />
hawle upon all occasions And otherwise<br />
hee cannot answere/
To the last hee saith saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot<br />
