To the first article of the said Allegation hee saith and<br /> Deposeth that in the monethes of May and June 1657:<br /> the arlate Mr Antonio ffernandez, Mr John Page Mr Gowen<br /> Painter and Mr Antonio Roderiguez Robles had treaty and<br /> Correspondence together about sending a ship and Cargoe<br /> of Goods from England to holland, and from thence<br /> to the Spanish West Indias, for their account, and the said<br /> Cargo was to be bartered away for Goods and Comodites<br /> of that Country for their said Account, And this deponent<br /> about the begining of the said Moneth of May 1657 as<br /> spoken to by the said Mr ffernandez, and Mr Page, to goe<br /> Master of the ship that should goe the said Voyage, which<br /> this Deponent undertooke, and this Deponent was frequently<br /> with the said Merchants and made Privy to their said Designe<br /> And after this Deponent was gone from London to Amsterdam<br /> upon the said voyage and Designe hee this Deponent and<br /> Mr Lopez and others that were made<br /> Privy to the said Designe and Voyage were hence Informed<br /> by a Letter from the foresaid Imployers that Mr Andrew<br /> Dunkyn (meaning Mr Dunkin the Producent,) was admitted<br /> a sharer in the ship that should doe the said voyage and the Cargoe that was to be Carried<br /> outward in her, and alsoe the Cargoe which should be brought<br /> home in her, And saith that the said Mr ffernandez Mr Page,<br /> Mr Painter and Mr Robles. did here buy Provide in or about the said<br /> moneth of May and June 1657 a great Quantity of goods. namely<br /> Stuffes Serges.
