in Wapping Mariner aged 32 yeeres or<br />
thereabouts sworne and Examined./
To the first Interrogatorie hee saith that hee well knoweth the<br />
ffrigot the ''Henrietta Maria'' whereof Captaine George [?Dowdall GUTTER]<br />
was Comander, and soe hath done for about Eleven [monethes GUTTER]<br />
Last past, and saith shee is about Thirty Tonns burthen.
To the 2d. and 3d. Interrogatories hee saith that hee well knoweth<br />
that his Royall Highnes James Duke of Yorke Lord [?High GUTTER]<br />
Admirall of England et cetera did in the moneth of July last [?past GUTTER]<br />
grant a Comission unto the said Captaine Dowdall [XXX GUTTER]<br />
and seize with the said ffrigot ''Henrietta Maria'' the ships [?and GUTTER]<br />
goods belonging to any Person in actuall Rebellion against<br />
his Sacred Majesty Charles the second (our Soverainge<br />
and King, and having nowe, seene<br />
and read over the first schedule annexed and mentioned<br />
in the said 3d. Interrogatorie, hee saith that hee verily beleeveth<br />
and is perswaded in his Conscience, that the said schedule [?was GUTTER]<br />
and is a true copy of the said Commission soe granted [?by GUTTER]<br />
his said Royall Highnes, this Deponent having very often<br />
read over the Originall both onboard the said ffrigot and<br />
elsewhere, which said Originall was onboard the said [?ffrigot GUTTER]<br />
when shee was seized by Captaine Barker as hereafter<br />

To the 4th and 5th. hee saith that the said ffrigot arrived<br />
in the Road of Mumbles neere Swanzey upon a [XXX GUTTER]<br />
being (as hee remembreth the 8th day of May last) and<br />
on ffryday following his Sacred majesty Charles the second<br />
King of England, Scotland ffrance and Ireland et cetera was<br />
Proclaimed at Swanzey and onboard the said Frigot<br />
by Colonel ffreeman governour of Cardiffe Castle, And [?of GUTTER]<br />
his certaine Knowledge (being then onboard the said<br />
