Transcription aboard, one of havre de Grace but hee knowaboard, one of havre de Grace but hee knoweth not of what<br /> place the other was, nor the name of either of them, but saith they<br /> spake good Italian. Ad 3 rendet that the interrate Signor Pisceilla who laded the said currants is<br /> accompted an Antwerpian borne, and this deponent was at Venice<br /> ordered by the said Ravenscroft to applie himselfe to the said Pisceilla<br /> for the said lading of currance. Et alr nescit salves predepoita. Ad 4 rendet that the interrogated [?Papqrio] Peregrino is an Italian, and<br /> as hee taketh it a Venetian, whose oiles were laded at Gallipoli, and<br /> to him this deponent was ordered at Venice by the said Ravenscroft<br /> to repaire. Ad 5 rendet that the contents or effects of the said colourable<br /> bills that were soe made away in the Ensigne, were for the oiles that<br /> hee received there of the said Peregrino at Gallipoli for London fro<br /> the account of the said Mr ffoote and to be delivered to him, and that<br /> they were English printed blancks and filled up<br /> with this deponents hand in English, which hee did at sea when<br /> hee departed from Ligorne, having there receaved the said blanck<br /> bills from Mr Ravenscroft. And saith there was one for the<br /> oiles and another for the currance, and that of the currance was<br /> as received of Signor Chrisostom Pisceilla to him<br /> the said Alderman ffoote [?else], alr satisfeb [?XXXX] Ad 6 negative, saying the three bills annexed were sent from the<br /> said lading places to Venice to be sent for England. Ad 7 rendet that soe farr as hee knoweth none but this deponent and the Captaine<br /> and Purser of the said shipp were privie to the said designe for<br /> England that hee knoweth of, the Captaines name Michael Brandon<br /> and the Purser Antonio [?drara]. Ad 8 rendet that the said Captaine was to follow this deponents<br /> order as touching the port to which hee should saile, and for the<br /> whole proceeding, and saith there were noe English aboard but<br /> this deponent, saving two passengers that they tooke in at Cadiz,<br /> namely Mr ffallon and Mr Sergeant. Ad 9 rendet that the said shipp being soe affreighted at Venice, the<br /> Aouthoritie there accoording as they use to doe with all shipps bound<br /> for any of those Ilands, put aboard about 25 souldiers, and a parcell<br /> of [?bsket] [?brand], for the armies in those parts, and<br /> touching by the way at Cephalonia, the said souldiers there went<br /> ashore, and there were at sea some of the Republiques [?ruggs]<br /> for the Gallistans taken in at Corsa to be carried to Zant<br /> and some cloth unladed at Corsa for the Republique for the<br /> freight of the said [?brand] souldiers and other things hee saith it was<br /> a matter left to the said Ravenscroft and this deponent knoweth<br /> not the conditions or summe thereof.
