Transcription Ad 5 nescit deponere salvis predeportis reAd 5 nescit deponere salvis predeportis refereado se ad schedulas aarlatus. Ad 6 deponit that the arlate Robert ffoote and Benjamin Child advised this<br /> deponents said Master that they had laded on board the said ship at Legorne (she touching<br /> there in her passage for London) two bailes of kidskins for their owne<br /> account marked and numbred as arlate. And that the said Welwyn had subscribed<br /> a note as is arlate And saith the fifth schedule is subscribed by the said Welwyn<br /> as is arlate, this deponent having severall times seene him write his name.<br /> and thereby being acquainted with manner and character in writing<br /> Et alr refereado se ad drum schedulam nescit Ad 7 deponit that the arlate Robert ffoote sent a Copy of a Certificate obtained from<br /> the arlate [?Sir]John ffinch6 his Majestys resident at fflorence to this deponents<br /> said master. Ad 8 nescit salvis predepositis ad qua se refert Ad 9 nescit salvis prdeprtis Ad 10 deponit that when the said ship was sent to Gallipoli the said Ravenscroft acquianted<br /> this deponents Master with his designe in lading the said ship with oyles, and desired to<br /> know of him whether hee would accept of any share in the said oiles who<br /> accepted of one halfe of the said oiles for himselfe and sonne and to that purpose wrote to him. Et alr<br /> nescit. Ad 11 12 et 13 nescit et pro parte sua negative. And saith he the said Walwyn is at present a lodger<br /> at this deponents own house. Ad 14 et 15 nescit. Ad 16 rendet that the master of the said shipp wrote or caused to bee writ a letter to this deponents master [?XXXX]<br /> whether hee should come up to London in regard severall enemyes pickaroones were on these coasts as he [?XXXX]<br /> and this deponents Maser with the consent of the foresaid Mr Pourteene and Mr Watts ordered him to come for<br /> London. but hee came before such order came to his hands as hee hath bin informed.
