Ad primum. 2 et reliqua Interria deponit et rendet that this deponent<br />
hath knowne the shipp the ''Saint Peter'' Interrate ever since her<br />
building which was at Mastrand about a twelvemonth since<br />
at which place this deponent was borne and saw her their<br />
building. And saith that she was there built by the order of<br />
the shipper Sven Rasmuson (who at Mastrand hired and shipped<br />
Cooke of the said shipp) on behalfe of himselfe and other owners.<br />
one whereof named Hance Croosen of Masterland, the shipper<br />
and three other persons living in Stockholme are the<br />
said shipps owners but of what parts hee knoweth not, all subjects<br />
of his Majesty of Sweden and Inhabitants of Masterland and<br />
Stockholme and the skipper hee saith hath a wife and five children<br />
in Masterland, and there dwelling, and Hance Crooson there dwelling has<br />
a wife and family there. And saith that the said shipp is of the<br />
burthen of about 50 lasts And has made three voyages<br />
since her building the first<br />
was from Gottenborow to Hamborow with Iron, Deales<br />
and there delivered the said lading and tooke in a lading of<br />
salt and came therewith to Masterland. The second was from<br />
Masterland with Herrings to Stockholme, where the same<br />
were delivered to Merchants here whose names hee knoweth not,<br />
And there he saith the skipper tooke in his present lading of Iron, Pitch<br />
and tarr and some deales to bee brought to London and here<br />
to bee delivered but to whom or to whom consigned hee knoweth<br />
not And saith that after the said ship had taken in her foresaid<br />
lading she went from Stockholme to Mastrand to take in some<br />
fresh provisions and there hee saith the old skipper agreed with<br />
this deponent for the voyage in question and was to have for the<br />
same backwards and forwards twelve Rix dollars, And saith there<br />
was neither ffrench Dutch or Danish ffactor onboard nor<br />
any other, but the shipps Company being with the skipper<br />
