Transcription Ad Decimum [?XXXX] arlum dicta Allegacons Ad Decimum [?XXXX] arlum dicta Allegacons ex parte<br /> [?dei] [?Whittey] dat, deponit et dict That hee this deponent<br /> being a Merchant by profession and Master<br /> of a ship was at Leghorne in the yeare 1646. att which tyme<br /> hee had occasion to remitt severall Sommes of Money And<br /> saith that then and there hee did not make above 4. ''s'' 3 ''d''<br /> or 4. ''s'' 4. ''d'' at the most per Doller for each doller that hee<br /> soe there delivered, But saith that in the yeare 1648. and<br /> now of late since that hee hath had monies remitted him<br /> thence at 5. Ad 3um rendet that any Merchant whatsoever lending<br /> or paying Dollers at Leghorne, to receave them here in<br /> sterling money doeth usually stay 3. months space after<br /> the date of the bill of exchange for the same. And saith<br /> that if any Merchant will have such returnes to bee made<br /> sooner then the said 3. moneths, they doe usually allowe accor=<br /> ding to the interest for such summe.
