Ad 8um 9um 10. 11. 1t 12um deponit et dici … Ad 8um 9um 10. 11. 1t 12um deponit et dicit that the producents Mr<br />
Edward and Thomas Bushell had not above a 4th or a third<br />
part of the ladeing arlate brought home in the ship the ''Greene''<br />
''Lyon'' which was consigned unto them or for theire Accompt the<br />
rest as hee saith being consigned by bills of Ladeing (subscribed<br />
as is arlate) to severall other Merchants in this Port of London<br />
who (haveing receaved the same in good condition) are accordingly<br />
to pay and have paied ffreight for them respectively, to hin the said [?Beaple] or<br />
his assignes. And saith that after the unladeing and discharging<br />
of teh said shippe hee this deponent did often see the said [?Beaple]<br />
goeing from Merchant to Merchant and of the deanding their<br />
said ffreight for transportation of the said goods, according to a list<br />
or particular Accompt which hee had taken thereof, which said ffreight<br />
this deponent beleiveth was respectively paid unto him by them, and [?XXX]<br />
any part thereof bee detained from him it is soe done meerely<br />
in respect of what damage theire said goods receaved by reason of<br />
the leakinesse and insufficiency of the said ship in the said voyage<br />
which hee saith was such that (hee this deponent seeing diverse parcells of<br />
the said ships Ladeing after it ws abrought ashore heere from abord the said<br />
ship aswell of those which were consigned to the said producent<br />
and others.) thereby were much damnified and spoyled by water<br />
as is arlate Et alr nescit deponere.
