Transcription which was for about six monethes, The saidwhich was for about six monethes, The said shipp tackle furniture [XXX]<br /> [XXXXX] [XX XXXX XXXXX XXX XXXX] thirteene hundred pounds att the least, And<br /> otherwise he cannot depose./ To the fifth hee saith that att the time of the setting forth of the said shipp<br /> and att her seisure shee was a st[XXXX] tight and staunch shipp amd [XX]<br /> well and suffivcientlt apparelled and furnished haveing 12 Gunnes in her with<br /> ammunition fitting thereunto, with 18 men and two boyes, and had sufficient [XX]<br /> shott (or thereabouts) [XX] [XXXX] [XXX] and [XXXX] quite through and all her Masts<br /> sailes and yards shott and spoile, and was and [?foote] water in hould and ready to<br /> sinke be fore such time as shee yeilded or was taken, And this hee knoweth<br /> being att the time of the said fight aboard the said shipp and otherwise hee<br /> saith he cannot depose. To the 6th hee saith that the said shipp was in the service and imployment of the<br /> said Bewley from the 20th of Aprill 1650 untill shee was seised and taken<br /> as afore said, havein not delivered all her goods att Saint Lucar as hee hath deposed<br /> untill the said 18th of November, from [which] 20th of Aprill to the 18th of<br /> november is six Monthes and three quarters of a Month, for which he saith<br /> there is due (according to the Charter party and monthely pay) unto the said [?producent]<br /> seaven hundred fortie pounds, and [?ten] shillings or thereabouts And otherwise<br /> he referreth him selfe to the said Charter party, and saith he cannot further depose To the last he saith that hee this deponent To the Interrogatories [CENTRE HEADING] To the first hee saith he cometh to depose in this cause att the request<br /> of the producent, and was Purser in the shipp the ''Adventure'' dureing the said<br /> voyage, And hath not received his wages or any part thereof, And further<br /> he cannot answere./ To the 2d hee saith that he was on bord the said shipp when shee did<br /> sett saile and depart from Gravesend, being the 3d day of May 1650,<br /> And otherwise hee knoweth not saveing that he doth<br /> remember, that after the said shipp came downe by Gravesend the producent came<br /> ipp to London, and returned back, and sett foreward in the said shipp the said 3d<br /> May To the 3d hee saith that the said shipp was laden with packs trunks and<br /> pipe staves and other goods which were for the Accompt of the said Mr Bewley<br /> And otherwise referring him self to his former depositions hee saith he cannot<br /> answ[?a]r hereunto particularly./ To the 4th he saith that that there was putt on bord the said ship the ''Adventure''<br /> att the Canaries 15 pipes of Canary wines to be transported to New found and<br /> and he saith hee did helpe to putt them abord being delivered by a Spaniard from the<br /> ffactors of the said Bewley and for his Accompt otherwise he saith he<br /> cannot depose./ Toe saith he<br /> cannot depose./ To  +
