twenty yeares or thereabouts a witnesse sworne and<br />
examined deposeth and saith as followeth.
To the first article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith and deposeth that<br />
in the monethes of March Aprill May June July and August 1653<br />
last past and before and since the arlate Lewis du Boyes, Adrian<br />
Yonker. Gerdt Boremaster, Guis Boremaster, Christian Holst<br />
Martin Holst and Company all Inhabitants of Hamburgh were and<br />
are lawfull Owners and Proprietors of the sayd shipp the ''Neptune''<br />
whereof Martin Holst aforesayd is master and of her tackle and<br />
furniture, and so accounted which he knoweth being an Inhabitant<br />
of Hamburgh and one of the Mariners of the sayd shipps Company<br />
and otherwise cannot depose.
To the second third fourth and fifth articles of the sayd allegation This deponent<br />
saith and deposeth that in the yeare and monethes aforesaid the arlate<br />
John and George Scothering Adrian Yonker and others merchants and<br />
Inhabitants of Hamburgh were and are the Owners of the merchants<br />
goods and lading aboard the sayd shipp being oyle almonds, Annis seeds<br />
Galls sope and other goods, and so accounted the premisses he knoweth<br />
for that he saw the arlate Joachim Lorenz and David Zollicoffer and<br />
Thomas Van Dabbar the producents ffactors att Marselles about the<br />
moneth of Aprill last past there lade and putt abpard the sayd shipp<br />
the oyle almonds and goods aforesayd for the Accompt and Risko<br />
of the sayd Hamburgh merchants to be in the sayd shipp transported<br />
to Hamburgh whither the sayd shipp was bound and there to be<br />
delivered to the sayd Hamburgh merchants for their owne Accompt<br />
And the sayd ffactors did expressely declare in the presence and hearing<br />
of this deponent that the sayd goods were for the Accompt aforesayd<br />
And otherwise cannot depose, saving that by common repute the sayd<br />
ffactors are all Bachelors resing att Marsellis in the quality of gactors<br />
and Merchant strangers, and that the sayd Zollicoffers are Switzers<br />
