Transcription at Antwerp amd other places. And saith it at Antwerp amd other places. And saith it is notorious That the said shipps<br /> in their Course from Cadiz towards Ostend were surprized taken and<br /> brought into England where they remaine And that the said silver<br /> and moneys are here detained from the said producent to his very<br /> great dammage and prejudice. And otherwise cannot depose. To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true./ To the Crosse Interrogatories:-/ [CENTRE HEADING] To the first negatively./ To the second hee saith hee hath knowne the interrate Edward Peters<br /> by Correspondencie and personally for about 12. yeares last past and the<br /> interrate John Lamotte for about 4. or 5. yeares last past, and the interrate<br /> William Jansen for about 14. yeares last past, and otherwise negatively<br /> for his part, And further cannot depose not being in the Voyage in<br /> question:/ To the third hee saith hee well knoweth that the interrate John Lamotte and<br /> William Jansen were and are factors to and for the said producent, but not<br /> hee for them. And otherwise cannot depose:-/ To the fourth hee saith the said Edward Peters is an Antwerper borne<br /> and so commonly accompted, and hath lived for all the time this deponent hath<br /> personally knowne him with his family in the Kitdorp in Antwerp and<br /> formerly in Antwerp and Dover for all the time interrate, and the said<br /> John Lamotte in the street de Juan de los Santos in Cadiz and is a Batchelor<br /> and the said William Jansen who is a married man hath lived for all the time<br /> interrate in [BLANK IN THE MANUSCRIPT] by the Port of Sevill./. To the 5th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoing deposition And otherwise<br /> cannot depose.
