Transcription the ''Saint ffrancis'' receyved a letter othe ''Saint ffrancis'' receyved a letter of Advise from the sayd ffrancis<br /> Mottet dated from Marsellys the 31th day of Aprill 1654 new stile<br /> that the had receyved two ffatts or butts of Oros or Iroos from the<br /> sayd Nis and Molynes att Legorne, and that he had bought eight small<br /> bales of bitter Almonds and had made them upp into three bales and<br /> marked them videlicet the sayd bales and butts with the marke in the '''F''' margent, and had laden them on board the arlate shipp the ''Saint''<br /> ''ffrancis'' whereof Louis Coriton was master to be transported to haver de<br /> Grace there to be delivered unto Louis Jordaine or his Agents, to<br /> ber sent from thence to England unto him the sayd ffrancis Tryon for<br /> his accompt, and that he so consigned the sayd goods to haver de grace in regard there was noe conveniency of shipping them from Marsellys<br /> for England, And further that the sayd ffrancis Tryon before the<br /> seizure of the sayd shipp at least before any newes thereof<br /> receyved advise from the sayd Jordayne that he had letters from<br /> the sayd ottet to the effect aforesayd. the premisses he knoweth for that<br /> he saw and perused the sayd letters before the newes of the sayd seizure<br /> and hath lately consulted with them and doth really beleive that the<br /> sayd goods were truly laden according to the effect of the sayd letters.<br /> And further saving his subsequent depositions he cannot depose. To the sixth Article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith, that the sayd<br /> Louis Jordayne by his letters of advise dated from Roahan the<br /> eighth day of May last past new stil. (which letters were<br /> directed to and came to the hands of the sayd Mr Tryon here in London<br /> before the seizure of the sayd shipp the ''ffrancis'') did signify that<br /> according to advises by him receyved from Marsellys the sayd Oras and<br /> Almonds were laden in the sayd shipp consigned to himselfe to be from<br /> havre da Grace after their arrivall there, sent to him the producent in<br /> London, And that the sayd Mottet in his sayd advises had sent to him the<br /> sayd Jordayne a bill of lading for the sayd goods: And he saith<br /> that since that tyme the sayd Jordayne sent over the bill of lading<br /> annexed and now shewne him to the producent in London as and<br /> for the very bill of lading sent to him as aforesayd from the sayd<br /> Mottet of Marsellys.
