Transcription realtion of Credible persons hath been infrealtion of Credible persons hath been informed and is assured. And<br /> further to this Article hee cannot depose/ To the 6th hee saith, That hee this deponent well knoweth the allate<br /> Peter Elleson a Broaker and Innekeeper, at the goulden Posthorne upon<br /> the Seadike at Amsterdam, when this deponent last saw him, and saith this<br /> deponent first came acquainted with him in the yeare 1650. last past, being at<br /> Amsterdam, and saw him last there in the yeare <u>1651.</u> And saith That<br /> then the said Peter Eleson was as aforesaid a Broaker who was then<br /> employed by hamborough and Lubeck skippers about procuring provisions<br /> for their shipps, and other small employments and errands, And saith<br /> That within that time the said Peter Eleson was not at all accompted<br /> any part Owner of the said shipp the ''Sampson'', nor beleeveth or ever<br /> heard that the said Otto George ever made any accompt to or with<br /> him in or under that Notion. And further saving his foregoeing and subsequent<br /> depositions hee saith hee cannot depose, saving that the said Otto George<br /> when hee was at Amsterdam did use to lye at the said Elesons house<br /> and sometimes, as hee beleeveth and hath heard, was employed by him<br /> about his occasions there./ To the 7th hee saith, That this deponent (as is by him predeposed) did first<br /> see the said shipp the ''Sampson'' at Cadiz in Spaine in the yeare 1647<br /> arlate, under the Conduct of the said Otto George, and saith that shee<br /> was then a very new built shipp, and had not, (as this deponent then<br /> understood by the said Otto George Vincent Van Campen and severall<br /> other persons of good Creditt and qualitie) made any other Voyage<br /> from Lubeck, saveing that, which was, as they affirmed and thisdeponent<br /> is fully assured, the first Voyage that ever shee made<br /> And further hee cannot depose./ To the 8th hee saith, That for and during all the time, which the said<br /> shipp the ''Sampson'' remained at and neere Cadiz in the yeare <u>1652.</u><br /> arlate, and for all the time of this deponents knowledge of her before<br /> and since, shee was never reputed amongst Merchants or Mariners that<br /> knew her to belong to Amsterdam or to have any of her Owners<br /> there inhabiting or residing, or to be bound thither with the ladeing<br /> shee there tooke in upon the Voyage in question wherein shee was<br /> surprized and taken by the English, nor was there, as hee saith<br /> any report at all at Cadiz, so farr as this deponent ever heard or<br /> beleeveth, That the said shipp did belong or was bound for<br /> Amsterdam with her lading, The premisses hee deposeth, for that<br /> thsi deponent saw the said shipp ''Sampson'' at Cadiz for about 4<br /> moneths togeather in the yeare <u>1652.</u> and was constantly [?XXX GUTTER]<br /> and upon all emergent occasions severall times in Companie with<br /> (herll times in Companie with<br /> (her  +
