Transcription and the other is now remaining in this depand the other is now remaining in this deponents Custodie. And further cannot<br /> depose To the 4th Interrogatorie and to the schedule therein mentioned and now shewne unto and<br /> read and perused by this deponent hee saith That the same was and is a true<br /> Copie of the Originall receipts predeposed given for the said goods under the hand<br /> of the interrate George Norleigh in the name of himselfe and of Robert Constable<br /> interrate, and saith the said goods were delivered some daies before the date<br /> of the said note, And saith That hee beleeveth the contents of the said receipt<br /> as to the weight of the goods in Controversie, were and are conformable to the report,<br /> or accompt given of the said weight from the Stilyard at Porta fferara, but<br /> saith the said goods of this rendents observation were not exactly and duely weighed<br /> nor the weights thereof really and truely sett downe as they ought to have bin,<br /> And further beleeving the rest of the Contents of the said receipt to be reall<br /> and true, hee cannot otherwise depose./ To the fifth Interrogatorie hee saith hee cannot depose otherwise or further then<br /> he hath predeposed to and upon the 4th article interrate to which hee referreth:-/ To the 6th hee saith, there were two English Marchant shipps at Ciprus who<br /> came away from thence under Captaine Badileys Convoy, besides the shipp<br /> ''Thomas Bonadventure'', who came together in Companie to Zant, from whence<br /> one English Merchant shipp more being come from Smyrna came along with<br /> them to Porto Lingoone, being all of them bound for London, two of which shipps<br /> besides the ''Thomas Bonadventure'' dischaged at Porta fferrara as aforesaid<br /> And saith hee beleeveth that the said two shipps which discharged at Porta<br /> fferrara as aforesaid were not taken to freight by the moneth, - And further<br /> cannot depose/ To the 7th hee saith hee this rendent doeth not know neither hath hee ever heard or<br /> beleeveth, That the interrate George hughes hath transferred or assigned to the<br /> interrate Thomas Bridges, nor to any other person or persons any part of the interest which<br /> hee had in the Cargazon interrate. And further cannot depose. To the 8th hee saith hee hath satisfied the demannds of this interrogatorie in his fore=<br /> going deposition to the 12th article of the Allegation And further cannot depose,<br /> saveing as this rendent remembreth and beleeveth, the letter interrate came from Legorne<br /> inclosed in a letter to Mr George ffarington at Zant, who delivered the same as now<br /> it is to the said George hughes, and otherwise negatively:- To the 9th hee saith, That the galls and cotton woolls interrate were not delivered<br /> into the Lazaretta interrate by weight, and saith the same were delivered well<br /> conditioned and free from sea dammage, and to the same number of baggs which<br /> were received aboard the ''Thomas Bonadventure'', so farr as this rendent (who<br /> according to his place of Purser tooke goode notice thereof) doeth now remember, And<br /> saith they were discharged and delivered at Porta ferrara by reason the said shipp<br /> was by Mr Longland and Captaine Badiley pressed and commannded into the<br /> service of this Commonwealth.
