Transcription as alsoe when they were delivered out of tas alsoe when they were delivered out of the said shipp<br /> into the said Lighter, and that whatsoeveer damage came<br /> unto the said Raisons Soles, came unto them after<br /> they were delivered out of the said shipp the ''George'', And<br /> further he cannot depose saving that he hath heard<br /> that the barrells of Raysins Soles which the said Lighter<br /> received in from the said shipp the ''George'' was much<br /> wett and damaged by the said Lighter. To the ninth article he deposeth that when the said<br /> Lighter did come to the said shipps side this deponent had<br /> some suspition of her and did aske if she was a good<br /> Lighter and that one of the Lightermen answered she was<br /> a good or a very good Lighter And further he cannot<br /> depose Saving that he hath heard since the damage happened<br /> unto the goods in question, that before and since that time<br /> other Merchants goods have bin damaged by her./ To the tenth he cannot depose. To the eleaventh he referreth himselfe to his former deposition<br /> And further cannot depose./ To the 12th 13th and 14th articles he referreth himselfe to<br /> the Lawes, and to the Registry of this Court And further<br /> cannot depose To the last he saith his former deposition is true. To the Interrogatoryes. [CENTRE HEADING] To the first Interrogatory he answereth that he commeth to testify<br /> in this cause at the request of the producents, and that it will<br /> bee neither profitt nor losse to him which side soever prevayle<br /> And to the rest he answereth negatively./ To the second Interrogatory he answereth that he knoweth not by<br /> what name the Lighter that came to the shipp the ''George'' her<br /> side is called, that it was about the midst of ffebruary she soe<br /> came to the said shipp and stayed there three dayes to the<br /> best of this Rendents remembrance, and that in that time<br /> she did not receave any water unto her, but yet that this<br /> Rendent did not well like her And further he cannot answere To the third he cannot answeare. To the fourth Interrogatory he answereth that the shipp interrate was<br /> somewhat leaky at her arrivall here in the River of Thames<br /> but that there was not any of her lading damnifyed thereby<br /> and he answereth that none of the sayd Raysons Soles were<br /> any ways wett when they were delivered into the Lighter<br /> interrate.
