Transcription preservation of their lives to putt into apreservation of their lives to putt into any convenient port or place<br /> they could meet withall, and finally came to the Barbadoes, where the<br /> said shipp was wracked and perished, the goods predeposed being then<br /> aboard her, and thereby part of the said Samuel Warners goods were<br /> utterly lost, part dammaged, and part saved, but how much was utterly lost<br /> endammaged or saved hee saith hee knoweth not. The premisses hee deposeth<br /> upon sadd experience as being a Passenger and sufferer in the Voiage in<br /> question. And further hee cannot depose./ To the Crosse Interrogatories:-/ [CENTRE HEADING] To the first Interrogatorie hee saith the intended Port of discharge of the<br /> shipp ''Angell'' interrate was James Towne in Virginia, And other<br /> wise referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition./ To the second hee saith hee hath knowne the interrate Samuel Warner for<br /> about two yeares last past, And saith That the valew of the goods by<br /> him laden aboard the said shipp to be transported as aforesaid amounted<br /> to foure hundred pounds and upwards, as this rendent very well observed<br /> and knoweth both by his relation as aforesaid, and by the invoyce of<br /> the said goods which this rendent carried along with him in the said shipp<br /> the Counterpart whereof is remaining in the Custody of the said<br /> Samuel Warner, and saith the said goods according to the bills of<br /> lading were ordered and consigned to be delivered at the Port aforesaid<br /> to Richard Jones who went passenger in the said shipp, and Supra<br /> Cargo of the said goods, And otherwise referring himselfe to his<br /> foregoeing deposition hee saith hee cannot further answer./ To the third hee saith hee referreth himselfe to his precedent deposition<br /> and knoweth nothing of any design for the Barbadoes as is interrate./ To the fourth hee saith hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition.<br /> Ans saith hee cannot describe any further circumstances of the said<br /> Vpiage or disaster, save that as hee as credibly informed at Barbadoes the<br /> said shipp was by the Governour and Councell there condemned as a Wracke./ To the 5th hee saith, That so farr as this rendent observed<br /> or knoweth, the goods or lading of the said shipp which were preserved<br /> were for the most part brought ashoare at Barbadoes. And as to the goods and Merchan<br /> dizes which the said Samuel Warner had aboard for his owne accompt<br /> and which were preserved they consisted in three servants of the [?vallew]<br /> of about 30 ''li'' sterling which were disposed of in<br /> Barbadoes, and such other of the said Warners goods as were<br /> preserved (whereof this rendent knoweth not the particulars) were by<br /> the said Richard Jones his direction laden and putt aboard the<br /> shipp ''henry and david'' to be transported from Barbadoes to<br /> Virginia.
