Transcription went thence in her to Scanderon, in which went thence in her to Scanderon, in which passage hee was about foure<br /> or five dayes aboard her. And otherwise hee cannot answer saving as<br /> aforesaid. To the third 4 and 5th hee saith that Roger ffowke<br /> is a factor at Cyprus, and otherwise negatively<br /> for hisd part, for hee was not then and there present. To the 6th hee hath not soe deposed, and<br /> therefore it concerneth him not. To the 7th hee saith hee well knoweth the interrogate Richard<br /> Chewne, and saith that the shipp the ''Thomas Bonadventure'' in<br /> question comming consigned to the said Chewne and company factors<br /> at Alleppo, hee the said Chewne was a factor for the producents<br /> concerning her lading at Scanderone, And saith the said Richard is<br /> brother to henry Chewne one of the freighters and parties in this<br /> sute, And saith the factors interrogated at Legorne, Cyprus, and Aleppo<br /> are not in partnershipp, but those of Aleppo act a part<br /> from those at Cyprus and Ligorne, and they of Ligirbe<br /> are alsoe apart, And otherwise hee cannot depose, saving<br /> as aforesaid. To the fourth hee saith that the passage for shipps from<br /> Cyprus for England hath for many yeares bin dangerous in<br /> regard of Tripoli and ffrench men of warr, and that they have<br /> taken diverse English and other shipps in those seas within theise<br /> seaven yeares last, And otherwise hee cannot depose saving as<br /> aforesaid.
