Transcription To the 5th hee cannot answere/ To the 6thTo the 5th hee cannot answere/ To the 6th hee saith hee very well knoweth the Interrogate Robert Bevin and [?saith GUTTER]<br /> hee knoweth hee was the voyage in question factor at the Teneriff one of the<br /> Canary Islands for the Interrogate Travers, and saith hee is not soe well<br /> acquainted with the said Bevins handwriting as to know whether the<br /> noate shewed him at the tyme of this his examination mentioned in this<br /> Interrogatorie bee sayd Bevins handwriting or signed by him, And<br /> to the rest of the Interrogatorie he cannot answere./ To the 7th hee cannot answere knowing nothing touching the contents thereof/ To the 8th hee saith hee hath heard the Interrogant Burridge saye that there were some pipes of wine which should<br /> have bin laden aboard the ''Martin'' Roger Paxton Master and were by mistake put<br /> aboard the ''John and Mary'' William Webber Master but the number or for whose of [?Accompt GUTTER]<br /> they were the sayd Burridge did not declare to this deponent, And therefore hee<br /> cannot further answere to this Interrorgatorie./ To the 9th hee saith hee cannot answere neither doth it concern him to answere<br /> thereto having not deposeth to the article Interrogate/ To the 10th hee cannot answere neither doth it concerne him soe to doe having<br /> not deposeth to the article Interrogate./ To the 11th hee saith that the sayd Paxtons shipp came consigned to the sayd<br /> Bouridge (sic) who was to freight her wholly but saith the sayd Bouridge (sic) having<br /> not wines sufficient of his owne to freight her did lett part of her tonnage<br /> to this deponent and hee beleveeth the sayd Burridge paid Indulto money for<br /> so much wines as hee laded aboard her, and hee his deponent well knoweth<br /> that for what wines hee this deponent laded on board her hee this deponent<br /> paid Indulto money him selfe after the rate aforementioned and saith<br /> hee heard the sayd Burridge and others in Teneriff saye that the sayd Paxtons<br /> shipp could have carried thirty or forty pipes of wynes more then shee<br /> had on board her the voyage in question, and further hee cannot answere/ Repeated before both Judges in Court/ Ralph Standish [SIGNATURE RH SIDE] [REST OF MANUSCRIPT PAGE BLANL EXCEPT FOR SINGLE LARGE CROSS] PAGE BLANL EXCEPT FOR SINGLE LARGE CROSS]  +
