Exámined upon an Allegation given in on the behalfe<br />
of the said Parrat and Turley:

yeeres or thereabouts sworne and Examined. saith as followeth
To the first article of the said Allegation Shee saith and Deposeth that at<br />
such tyme as the arlate Paratt and Turley did make an agreement with the<br />
arlate Cutberd to proceede Master upon the voyage in question shee this<br />
deponent was a servant in howse to the sayd Parratt and thereby came to<br />
heare the conference betweene the sayd Parratt and Turley, and the sayd Cutberd<br />
about his being hyred to goe the sayd voyage and saith shee well remembreth<br />
that the sayd Parratt and Turley were unwilling to adventure upon the<br />
designe of the sayd voyage and that the sayd Cutberd did earnestly perswade<br />
them to undertake the same and tould them that they might if they would<br />
undertake the same) double their moneys they were to laye out thereabout<br />
and the sayd Parratt and Turley still being unwilling and declareing that<br />
they thought it would be great charge unto them to undergoe the same the sayd<br />
Cutberd told them hee would desyre but tenn pounds in all for sayleing<br />
the sayd shipp the sayd voyage to Berghen and assisting there in the sale of her outward<br />
ladeing and buyeing of her homeward ladeing And saith that upon<br />
the sayd Cutberds perswasions the sayd Turley and Parratt did agree<br />
to adventure upon the sayd voyage, and agreed with the sayd Cutberd<br />
to goe Master for the sayd voyage outward and homeward and to assiste the sale of the<br />
outwards Cargo at Berghen and in the buying of the<br />
homewards cargo for the summe of tenn pounds, all which premisses<br />
and contract shee saith, passed and was made betweene the sayd Parratt<br />
Turley and Cutberd in the sayd Parratts house in Saint Katherines neere the<br />
Tower London, before the sayd Cutberds proceeding on the sayd voyage in<br />
presence of this deponent and the sayd Turley and Parratt and their wives,<br />
And further to this article shee cannot depose/

that hee carried some goods to Berghen in the shipp arlate in<br />

outward Cargoe and buying her homewards Cargoe And further shee<br />
