the shipp ''Industrie'' the voyage in question and hath receaved all his wages due<br />
for the sayd voyage And to the rest of the Interrogatorie hee answereth negatively/
To the 2 hee saith hee knoweth not the Interrogate don Christovall da Alvarado<br />
but hath heard that such a one liveth on the Island of Teneriff one of the Canaria<br />
Islands And further to this Interrogatorie hee cannot answere knowing nothing touching the<br />
rest of the contents thereof./
To the 3 hee saith hee knoweth not of any pipe of wyne belonging to the sayd Page<br />
which was staved after it came into the possession of the Mariners of the<br />
''Industrie'', but well knoweth that all the sayd Pages wines which came into<br />
the possession of the Mariners was delivered according to the bills of ladeing<br />
made for them and there was noe allowance made by this deponent (nor any<br />
other of the Mariners of the sayd shipp for any wine soe staved the sayd<br />
Mariners being paid their full wages without any abatement And further<br />
saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot answere otherwise than negatively./
To the 4th hee saith the ''Industrie'' arrived at the Canaries the fifth day of<br />
September one thousand sixe hundred fifty fower English Accompt and came<br />
there againe in the moneth of November that yeare and about the fowerteenth<br />
or fifteenth day thereof English Accompt to the best of his now remembrance<br />
but for that hee hath not now his Journall which hee kept of the sayd voyage<br />
hee cannot now particularly answere as to the tyme of the sayd shipps departure from<br />
the Canaries./
To the 5th Interrogatorie hee cannot answere for that hee heard not any such order<br />
as is Interrogate given nor hath deposed ought touching the same/
To the 6th Interrogatorie hee cannot answere knowing nothing touching the contents<br />
thereof./

''Industrie'' shee being then upon her outward bound voyage to the Canaries, but<br />
upon what day of the sayd moneth the sayd goods were laden hee remembreth not<br />
for that hee this deponent since the sayd voyage endeth goeing<br />
an other voyage to sea in another shipp was forced to forsake the shipp hee<br />
went in shee being in danger to be betrayed to the Spaniards and by that meanes lost<br />
