of them (as they sayd) a months pay given them by the Owners of the ''Saint''<br />
''Antonio'' for such their service And hee saith had not the sayd shipp<br />
''Saint Antonio'' bin soe rescued and carried thence to Majorca (where<br />
shee was as her company sayd sett out before her soe fighting with<br />
and burneing and destroying of the ''Anne Pearcie'' and her ladeing<br />
shee had not bin oimployed as a shipp of warr against the subiects of this<br />
Commonwealth, nor soe burnt and destroyed the ''Anne Pearcye'' and her<br />
ladeing And further hee cannot depose./
To the 7th article hee saith that in his this deponents Judgement the shipp<br />
''Anne Pearcie'' and her tackle apparrell furniture and Stock was<br />
the tyme arlate worth five thousand pounds sterling at the least And<br />
that the freight of her goods would have amounted to at<br />
least a thousand pounds more of like money And that the Adventures<br />
the Mariners of her had then aboard her were well worth five<br />
hundred pound of like money and better./
To the 8th hee saith that in his this deponents Judgement the goods<br />
aboard the ''Anne Pearcie'' the tyme arlate for Account of and belonging<br />
to the arlate dethick, Browne, and Company were well worth<br />
fifty thousand sterling and would have yeilded soe much or<br />
more if they had not bin burned in manner aforesayd And<br />
further cannot depose./
To the 9th hee saith that the arlate ffayrefaxe, LeGay, and company<br />
by reason of the losse of the ''Anne Pearcye'' in manner aforesayd<br />
have for want of the imploymen of her upon the designe shee<br />
was then on, bin damnified (over and above the value of the sayd<br />
shipp and her stock) the summe of three thousand pounds sterling<br />
and better, in his this deponents Judgment and estimate And<br />
further hee cannot depose./
