Transcription Boutill and Samuel Micó, And hee saith heeBoutill and Samuel Micó, And hee saith hee alsoe very well<br /> knoweth the shipp the ''Lyon'' Interrate (William Greene Master)<br /> and was Supra cargo of her at the time of her taking<br /> And otherwise hee cannot answer:/: To the second hee saith hee well knoweth the reputed owners<br /> 6of the said shipp, who (were and are Mr Thomas Parris, Mr John Ray,<br /> Mr Nathaniel Herring, Mr James Drawater, Mr Joseph Hamon<br /> Mr William Cockrof Mr William Boutil, and Mr James Napper,<br /> which Napper was the true and lawfull owners of an Eighth part of the<br /> said shipp, tackle and furniture. To the 3d. and 4th hee saith the said shipp was last at the Port of Saint<br /> Remo in the Revero of Genoa, before her taking and saith<br /> she set sayle from thence, on or about the 12th of January<br /> last, (old stile), bound for Amsterdam, and saith hee the said Napper had<br /> on board at and after the second day of September 1656<br /> an Eighth part of foure thousand three hundred and sixty<br /> kentalls, of drye Newfoundland ffish which was discharged of<br /> Genoa, and saith this deponent tooke aboard at Newfoundland by the order of the<br /> said James Napper (,which hee verily beleeveth was for the said Nappars<br /> sole accompt about Eleven kintalls, and a halfe of drye ffish, as a<br /> private Adventure which this deponent sold at Genoa, and Invested<br /> the said Money in Corrall beads by his order, to the about<br /> the vallue of thirty two peeces of Eight, which were in this deponents<br /> Custody at the time of the said shipps taking, And<br /> hee the said Napper alsoe had an 8th part interest in 2000 peeces of 8: delivered<br /> the ffreighters of the said ship, which money was to be receaved<br /> with the ffreight, at her Arrivall in Amsterdam, which<br /> and was utterly lost, together with the said shipp: and otherwise hee<br /> cannot depose.
