Transcription Company aboard the ''Elizabeth and dorothyCompany aboard the ''Elizabeth and dorothy'' and sent her by then away for the<br /> Groyne And saith that after his comming hime to England<br /> upon Parroll graunted him) hee heard at her coming to London that the shipp ''Elizabeth and dorothy''<br /> was the next day after her seizure rescued and taken from the Company of<br /> the dunkirke man of warr by a frigott in the imediate service of this Common<br /> wealth who brought her and her ladeing consisting of wyne salt rozin Iron and<br /> vinegar to Plymouth, and as hee hath alsoe credibly heard shee and her ladeing<br /> were afterwards restored to the Owners thereof And further hee cannot depose/ To the 4th article by reason hee was a foremast man as aforesayd hee knoweth<br /> that the sayd Sandford and the rest of the Mariners schedulate (except the sayd Cooper)<br /> togeather with this deponent did serve in the sayd shipp from the tyme of her setting forth<br /> from Gravesend as aforesayd till her sayd seizure And hee saith hee they and<br /> the sayd Cooper did all performe their duties according to their places And hee<br /> saith in his this deponents Judgment the rates schedulate are reasonable and such<br /> as are usuall for mariners that serve in the like places and offices shipps<br /> voyages as the sayd shipp the ''Elizabeth and dorothy'' And further to<br /> this article hee cannot depose/ To the 5th hee saith the arlate Boswell is reputed a part Owner of the sayd ship<br /> ''Elizabeth and dorothy'' and this deponent hath heard him acknowledge him selfe<br /> soe to bee And further to this article hee cannot depose knowing not what<br /> passed betwixt the sayd Boswell and Yarwood./ To the 6th hee saith hee this deponent and the arlate Sandford and all the<br /> rest of the mariners schedulate (except the sayd Cooper who was shipped<br /> about tenn dayes after at Plymouth) entered into whole pay at Gravesend<br /> on the sixteenth of October and served in whole pay<br /> till the thirteenth of March last which is fower moneth and twenty seaven<br /> dayes And the sayd Cooper was in whole pay from the tyme of his<br /> shipping at Portsmouth till her seizure which was and is fower moneths<br /> and seventeene dayes And further to this article hee cannot depose<br /> saving hee beleeveth the respective summes schedulate are due to the<br /> respectove persons schedulate for their wages, and saving his foregoing deposition/.
