Transcription To the 5th hee saith that hee beleeveth thTo the 5th hee saith that hee beleeveth the said wine was<br /> worth the summe of thirty pounds sterling at the least Per Pype and saith<br /> that the Company of the ''Alexander'' and Ketch tooke away<br /> and killed, and were the cause of the Death of about foure<br /> Dozen of Canary birds which were in the said ship, which were<br /> worth about foure shillings a peece, and saith that hee berily<br /> beleeveth that the Ownes of the said ship have<br /> sustained dammage by the said ships being carried back, and<br /> hindered as aforesaid to the summe of One hundred and ffifty<br /> pounds sterling besides hee saith that hee beleeveth that the said<br /> ships sailes Rigging, and tackling by meanes of the [?XXoting]<br /> aforesaid were damnified to the Vallue of Twenty pounds<br /> sterling but saith that hee cannot Judge the Vallue of the<br /> foresaid Cutlace, Pot Panns, Spoones, Table Cloaths, and<br /> Seamans Cloathes, And further doth not depose not knowing<br /> who were or are the Owners Imployers or setters forth of<br /> the ''Alexander''./.
