one of the Judges of the High Court of the Admiralty<br />
of England saith and Deposeth<br />
by vertue of his oath as followeth
That on the twelfeth day of this present moneth of August<br />
hee this Deponent did receive from Mr Thomas Corbitt of London<br />
merchant a certaine writing with a seale thereupon marked being<br />
of the Tenor word for word as followeth videlicet (Translation out<br />
of the Lowe Dutch Tongue Upon this ffifteenth day of August<br />
16 ffifty Nine appeared before me Justus Vande Ven<br />
by the Noble Court of Holland and the Illustrious<br />
Magristrait of the City Amsterdam admitted Publique<br />
Notary dwelling within the same City, and the witnesses hereafter<br />
named Peter Marcusse of Sardam Master of the ship named ''De Jaeger''<br />
long 106 foote, wyde 24 foote, Deepe 11 foote, and 4 ¾ feete above all<br />
Sardammer feete lying at this City and declared to have sold and transported<br />
As hee sells and transports by theise presents, to and for the use of the widoww<br />
and heires of Richard Bridgenab deceased for the account and<br />
perrill of Mr Thomas Corbett and Owen Lloyd of London<br />
Merchants the said his ship, with his sayles Ropes, Anchors and<br />
furniture thereunto belonging, about this Present it is lying at this<br />
City to the said widow. Merchants well knowne, who from this houre<br />
(for the Account abovesaid) doth accept of the sale of the said ship<br />
and that for a Certaine Summe of money whereof hee<br />
