1. Negros in the said shipp, And that much the said five Spaniards
2. did likewise testifie in the Admiraltie Court the time aforesaid

5. To the nineth article hee saith that the said five Spanairds did
6. likewise informe this deponent that the said Governour BarrXXXX GUTTER
7. had sent the said Pinke with the said License to Santa Domingo

15. To the tenth hee saith that the said five Spaniards did likewise informe

18. was good, and was thereupon admitted to make entrie of his XXX GUTTER
19. in the Captaines house, and upon accepting and serving of thXX GUTTER

22. To the 11th hee saith that the said five Spaniards did alsoe informe GUTTER

24. promisses made unto the said Jacket by the said Governour and

New Barcelona

New Barcelona (alt. Barcellona; Nueva Barcelona del Cerro Santo) was founded in 1638 by Joan Orpí i del Pou (b. 1593, d. 1645). The city became the capital of the Province of Nueva Cataluña, which had been founded by del Pou in 1633. The Province was merged in 1654 into the New Andalusia Province, and the city of New Barcelona was refounded in 1671. New Barcelona was located in what is now called Venezuela.^[2]
