Hughes made to the positions of an
Allegation given in against him on behalfe
of Alderman ffrederick and Company containing
4. Articles doe followe

1 To the first pretended position he answereth and beleaveth
That the arlate Roger ffowke is ffactor at Cyprus
for other men aswell as the said Alderman ffredericke
and Companie, And this rendent believeth that hee this
rendent received noe other goods on board the said
ship the Thomas Bonadventure the voyage in question
but what hee received from the said Roger ffowke
and Richard Chewne whoe came from Aleppo, And
