To the third pretensed position and schedu … To the third pretensed position and schedule<br />
therein mentioned hee answereth and ac=<br />
cepteth soe much of the Contents of the said<br />
position and schedule therein mentioned<br />
as make for him and not otherwise and<br />
beleeveth that the arlate Christopher<br />
Peeterson did proceed upon the said voyadge<br />
from hamburrowe to the Canaries and<br />
did there take into the said shippe for the<br />
Account of this Rendent and others the<br />
number or quantitye of 282 pipes of<br />
wines and seaven packs of Coocheneale<br />
and noe more as hee beleeveth<br />
with which hee the said Peeterson set saile to London<br />
and here arrived upon or about the Third<br />
day of January 1650 and after his Ar<br />
rivall here did contrary to his agreement<br />
and contract keepe and detaine this<br />
Rendents goods on board his said shippe here<br />
in the River of Thames by the space of<br />
eleaven dayes before hee would begin to deli<br />
ver the same although this respondent<br />
did severall times and dayes within the said<br />
eleaven dayes often desire him to deliver<br />
the same which wilfull neglect of delivery<br />
and default of the said Peterson this<br />
rendent beleeveth hee this rendent was<br />
damnified in losse or market in his<br />
said wines the Summe of 350 ''li'' And this<br />
rendent further beleeveth that att such<br />
time as the said Peetersond did deliver<br />
unto this rendent his said goods the same<br />
were much imbeazelled and wasted and<br />
spoiled soe as this rendent was dam=<br />
nified thereby in losse of wines to the<br />
value of 300 ''li'' as hee beleeveth and this<br />
rendent alsoe beleeves<br />
